To put emojis in Discord channel names on a PC or Mac:
- First, visit the Unicode Emoji list and find an emoji you want to use.
- Select it on the page, right-click it, and then press Copy.
- With the emoji copied to your clipboard, open the Discord app or web client.
- Select your server from the panel on the left.
- Hover over the channel name you want to edit and press the Edit Channel button.
- In the Channel Name box in the Overview tab, right-click and press Paste in the position you want to place your emoji.
- To save your new channel name, press the Save Changes button at the bottom.

It’s a slightly easier process to add emojis to Discord channel names if you’re using the Android or iPhone app—assuming your keyboard supports emojis.
If it doesn’t, you’ll need to visit the Unicode Emoji list in your mobile device’s web browser first and copy the emoji to your clipboard. You can proceed with the next steps if you’ve done that already (or if your keyboard supports emojis.)
To add emojis to Discord channel names on Android and iPhone devices:
- Open the Discord app on your device.
- Tap the menu icon in the top-left to view your server and channel list.
- Select your server, then tap and hold your channel name.
