Do you want to save a small part of a Twitch stream? You can use clips to do just that. This guide will explain how to make or delete Twitch clips.

If you want to record something funny or important that a Twitch streamer does, you can use Twitch clips. Twitch clips are short video snippets of a Twitch stream that can last up to 60 seconds long.

As a user, if you want to create or delete clips on Twitch, you can do that on any stream that allows it. Some restrictions may apply, depending on whether you’re a follower or subscriber.

If you want to know how to create or delete clips on Twitch, follow the steps below.

Deleting Twitch Clips

Unfortunately, it isn’t easy to delete Twitch clips you create using the mobile app. That’s because the Twitch app doesn’t include the Creator Dashboard, which is the area of Twitch that allows you to manage Twitch clips. Without the dashboard, you aren’t able to view or delete clips from the app itself.

There is a workaround, however. You can access the Twitch Creator Dashboard from your mobile device’s web browser. While it won’t be as easy to navigate, you should be able to visit the Clips section and remove a video you’ve created.

If you’re having trouble, however, we’d recommend signing in to the Twitch website on your PC, Mac, or Chromebook. This will allow you to use the Creator Dashboard page properly to remove your clips.

Having Fun on Twitch

Using the steps above, you can quickly create or delete Twitch clips on any platform. If you want to have more fun on Twitch, you’ll need to get to grips with how the platform works.

For instance, if you want to block Twitch ads, your best bet is to use a Twitch Turbo or stream subscription. You should also follow or unfollow streamers you like on Twitch to make sure you catch (or avoid) those streams.

Want to start streaming on Twitch yourself? You can stream on Twitch using OBS for free.
